Not too many different kinds of tulips and not too many tulip bulbs. They're pretty and bright and intense, but people take them and they're more expensive than crocuses, which are also pretty and people don't take them. I tried to match them to the house. This is probably stupid, but I did it. I got a deep bronzy-golden kind called cairo, and a blue one called aimiable blue.
